This modern cabin from 2017 sits at the top of Fetalia, 800m above sea level, at the entrance to Hardangervidda National Park. With its 120 sqm and 5 bedrooms, the cabin can accommodate up to 14 guests, and is perfect for families, groups of friends or team building. Here you get a unique combination of comfort, nature experiences and activity options.
Facilities and furnishings
The cabin has three floors, including a mezzanine with a loft living room, playroom and en-suite bathroom. Three of the bedrooms have double beds, while the other two have bunk beds. The loft living room also has a sofa bed, and there is the possibility of extra beds in the loft.The cabin is fully equipped with kitchen utensils, dishwasher, washing machine and satellite TV. Here you will also find a wide selection of games and activities, including billiards, table tennis, Stiga ice hockey and more. There is internet and TVs in several rooms.
Outdoor activities
On the large property there are levelled areas for football, volleyball, badminton and more. In winter, children can enjoy sledging on the slope in front of the cabin, or use the prepared trails behind the cabin that lead to groomed ski tracks. Two bicycles and a children's bicycle are available for summer use, and a fire pit as well as outdoor furniture are at your disposal.
Panoramic views and walking opportunities
From the living room you can enjoy a magnificent view over Sysendalen and six mountain peaks, including Store Ishaug (1485m above sea level) and Berakupen (1531m above sea level), which are also easily accessible for both summer and winter trips. The cabin's location gives direct access to a network of trails and walking opportunities in the local area.
The local area
Sysendalen ski centre is only 10 minutes away, and the ski lifts at Voss and Geilo are about one hour away. Shop and fishing licences can be found at Garen camping, only 3 minutes from the cabin. In addition, Vøringsfossen, Hardangervidda Nature Centre and Eidfjord centre are just a short drive away, with opportunities for sightseeing, cafés and restaurants.
