Fishing Camp

Through our rental company, "Selheim Båtutleie og Leisure Experiences at Sea" (org. no.: 929477030) we are a registered tourist fishing operation.

This means that foreign tourists can take home fish they have caught themselves when they rent our property and/or boats. With our two boats we have registered a private boat rental and fishing service, and through this business we have secured an official licence for a fishing camp. This means you are allowed to take your catch home to your own country. But you must follow the official guidelines and rules, and register your catch daily.

I use The GoFish app → to track and report all catch. You must register your daily catch using this system. I have a GPS tracking system in the small boat and a more advanced tracking system on the 29-foot boat.

This means we can track the boat when you are at sea as an extra safety measure for you.

PS: If you do not plan to take any catch out of Norway, and only eat what you catch, you do not need to register your catch.
